Resource Mobilization and Strategic Partnership Training from 16th-18th June, 2016 in Magwi County, South Sudan


The training is aimed at enabling those running Non-Government Organizations in the Region in mobilizing resources, creating strategic partnerships and building their capacities to fundraise more effectively in the current stringent donor environment. The training seeks to build and enhance the capacity of participants to actively mobilize resources, build networks, and create long lasting partnerships, in order to meet the increasing challenges facing them and their institutions. Participants will be equipped with knowledge and skills in Resource Mobilization, Strategic Partnerships, and writing winning grant proposals.

The participants will include, Project Managers, Fundraisers, directors, Volunteers, Grant writers, Program Managers, Development officers and anyone who will be interested in the training.

  5. Session Five:         Strategies for meeting the donor requirements/ Expectations
  6. Session Six:           Donor Cultivation and Researching for Donors
  7. Session Seven:      Planning for a Fundraising Campaign
  8. Session Eight:        Methods of Fundraising and New Trends (Social Media)
  9. Session Nine:          Fundraising Actors-The board and Resource Development Officer
  10. Session Ten:           Raising money/resources in your community
  11. Session Eleven:      Mobilizing Non-Financial Resources for your Project
  12. Session Twelve:      Developing a Resource Mobilization Strategy for your Organization
  13. Session Thirteen:   Planning for resource Mobilization in your project
  14. Session Fourteen:  Developing a winning Project Proposals


Training Fees: 100USD (Per participant) – Includes (break tea and lunch)

Methodology of Training The workshop will use Practical and interactive teaching techniques and each participant will be encouraged to participate from the basis of his or her own field experience.
