TRAINING WORKSHOP ON GRANT PROPOSAL WRITING

Proposal Writing Workshop is based on insights collected from the workshop participants and our partner organizations about the necessary skills needed by staff to write grant proposals. The training workshop is designed for beginning grant proposal writers and those who may want to perfect their writing skills in grant proposals.In the workshop you will experience seasoned Experts and Trainers with years of practical experience and loads of up-to-date information about the world of grants today. The workshop will provide the essential knowledge and skills grant writers need to become effective proposal writers. Participants will become familiar with the key components of a competitive and innovative grant proposal and a well-organized budget. The two days will be devoted to proposal writing exercises, Peer review Exchanges, Creating sample budgets, grant research and mock proposal review process that will help you understand the proposal from a grant maker’s perspective.

Method of Facilitation

Using group exercises, presentation, case studies, and use of templates from prominent donors such as USAID, Netherlands Embassy, Japan Embassy, Civil Society Fund, American Embassy and so many others
