Course Participation
By enrolling in this course, you are agreeing to complete all pre-work assignments, including submitting your draft of the assigned section prior to peer reviews, and preparing thoughtful comments on colleagues’ drafts for discussion during the session.
By the end of this short course series, you will be able to:
1. Discuss the core components of a successful scientific manuscript.
2. Identify strategies and next steps for completing a full manuscript for peer review submission.
3. Anticipate reviewers’ concerns in discussing and presenting your research in writing and how to best respond to any concerns raised
4. Ably write your own manuscript and identify journals to publish in
5. Discuss and apply ethical obligations in manuscript writing

The course is taught through a mix of practical activities, theory, group works and case studies. Training manuals and additional reference materials are provided to the participants.
