In 2017, March Maarifa Consult designed a robust M&E system for CEDA Uganda for its Rising Stars Mentoring Programme funded by MacArthur Foundation.

Century Entrepreneurship Development Agency-CEDA specializes in Education, Leadership, Mentoring and Social Entrepreneurship development for women and youth (girls and boys). It works in post-conflict areas of north and western Uganda, urban slum areas and economically disadvantaged rural communities throughout Uganda.

The organization’s strategic approach to development works through Mentor ship, Training, Community Dialogues and Out-Reaches to design and implement projects in the areas of: financial literacy, employment creation for youth, gender economic empowerment, peace and security, quality education for girls, combating violent extremism, human trafficking and sexual exploitation and gender-based violence.

During the process designing an M&E system, the consultant will adopted an Integrated Robust Participatory Approaches to do some the assignments from the inception to the final completion of the assignment.

The consultants conducted an in-depth assessment of the existing M&E system and the findings will guide the development of the new and a robust M&E system. On top of this, the consultant will conduct an end of Evaluation for a Mentor-ship program in Uganda. Also, the consultant will be mandated to undertake the overall M&E tasks within the organisation.
